House Oversight Committee Votes to Subpoena Les Wexner

STATEWIDE - According to a press release issued by The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the committee voted to issue subpoenas to ‘co-conspirators’ in the Epstein and Maxwell financial and trafficking operations, including Les Wexner, Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn. The move comes after recent emails have been released from a leaked Epstein showing Wexner had not been forthcoming regarding his relationship with Epstein.

“These subpoenas for the executors of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, and billionaire benefactor Les Wexner, are an enormous step forward in our investigation to deliver justice for the survivors and truth for the American people,” committee member Robert Garcia said.

The combination of the committee issuing subpoenas to Wexner, Indyke and Kahn is most likely related to the leaked Email account from Jeffrey Epstein which revealed Wexner was not forthcoming when he had previously stated the relationship he had with Epstein had been dissolved as a result of his arrest in 2006 and subsequent ‘sweetheart’ plea deal in 2008. According to emails which have been covered previously by TOR, despite Epstein officially stepping down as chair of the Wexner foundation in 2007, he still maintained control unofficially of the entirety of Wexner’s financial network, using his personal lawyer Darren Indyke as a go between in communication between Wexner foundation business, Wexner and himself.

Other emails, such as one from Wexner himself to Epstein, implied a potential foreknowledge of the illegal activity Epstein was involved with. In said email, Wexner, who states his wife Abigail informed him of the situation pertaining to Epstein’s arrests, tells Epstein ‘you broke your number one rule, always be careful.’ To this, Epstein replied ‘no excuse.’

Most notably, Epstein victim Mariah Farmer, who was assaulted by Epstein and Maxwell, was held captive at Wexner’s estate in Franklin county. Upon her escape she attempted to make multiple reports to local law enforcement and the FBI, naming Wexner as the true 'head of the snake' of Epstein and Maxwell's operation, yet no investigation or charges had ever been filed.

It is unclear if the subpoenas to Wexner will be successful as recently a civil suit against The Ohio State University regarding previous cases of sexual assault have attempted to issue subpoenas to Wexner and have been unsuccessful due to his private security turning away servers and Wexner's personal attorneys refusing to present subpoenas to him.
