Ohio State President Resigns

COLUMBUS - It has now been reported that Ohio State University President Ted Carter has submitted his resignation after an inappropriate relationship with an unnamed person seeking public resources. The move comes after the university has been under intense scrutiny for its close relationship with Epstein coconspirator Leslie Wexner.

While details about the 'inappropriate relationship' are scarce, reports indicate Carter admitted to a "mistake in allowing inappropriate access to Ohio State leadership" from a female private business owner who was wanting public resources for her private endeavors.

Carter has presided over the university during a time of intense public scrutiny to sever ties to Epstein Coconspirator Les Wexner, who has still not been fully investigated for his ties to the human trafficking operation.  In early 2024, Carter publicly defended the university’s ongoing relationship with Wexner, calling him a "great philanthropic partner" and stating that OSU would not reconsider its ties without "much more of the facts".

While the public demanded Wexner's name be removed from several prominent buildings, including the Wexner Center for the Arts and the Wexner medical center, Carter maintained that decisions regarding the removal of Wexner’s name were governed by "explicit and detailed processes" rather than personal executive decree, though he faced criticism for what some perceived as a culture of protecting powerful donors.

Carter's resignation was effective immediately, OSU board chair, John Zeiger, who is the personal attorney to Les Wexner, is expected to submit a transition plan soon.
