Questions Still Lingering On Ghislaine Maxwell Preferential Treatment

BY JEFF SKINNER

STATEWIDE - While the controversy over the Epstein files continues, with Rep. Thomas Massie arguing that a large reason for the continued government shutdown surrounds his petition which would mandate the release of any remaining ‘Epstein files’, many are overlooking the preferential treatment convicted human trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is currently receiving and what that will mean for any push for justice in the future.

In August, Epstein and Les Wexner associate Ghislaine Maxwell was, without explanation, relocated to ‘club Fed’, the minimum security prison in Bryan Texas, while she is supposedly serving her 20 year sentence. The move required a special waiver to be completed as Federal Bureau of Prisons policy prohibits sex offenders like Maxwell to be transferred to minimum security prisons. Additionally, as a result of this move, Maxwell has been permitted a massive amount of leniency in allowed ‘work release’.

There has been no explanations for these allowances and moves outside of an immediately forgotten ‘testimony’ she provided to attempt to exonerate herself and anyone tangentially related to the operation. Those with familiarity and knowledge of the long-standing operation Maxwell, Epstein and Wexner most likely ran, are aware the prosecutor in her original human trafficking case stated psychological analysis determined Maxwell is dishonest and only cares about absolving herself of any criminal consequences.

Now, a story out of the Wall Street Journal is reporting on strange occurrences happening at Camp Bryan, including inmates being locked in their quarters so Maxwell could be provided private meetings with an unknown individual. According to the article, while inmates were confined to their quarters during what should have been recreation time, Maxwell was permitted private audiences with multiple unknown individuals in the secluded prison camp chapel. According to the article, Maxwell is receiving unusually preferential treatment, upsetting the other inmates and leading to the need for armed security around the area. Some inmates have even been threatened with transfer to worse facilities should they raise concerns over Maxwell’s privileges at the camp.

Should attending yoga class be a right for convicted sex offenders and human traffickers?

Some have argued the criminal underpinnings of the Epstein/Maxwell/Wexner operation were core elements of the development of the MAGA movement, marking a core tenet of the movement, the dissolution of the two-tier justice system that permitted or possibly participated in human trafficking as an intelligence operation. While arguments have been abound about releasing ‘lists’ which may or may not exists, the major elements of the movement’s demands, such as investigating the overarching network which includes individuals like Les Wexner, Ehud Barak, Eva and Glenn Dubin and others, have been largely ignored by the current FBI and DOJ administrations which issued a definitive statement claiming no new arrests or investigations would take place.

Many have been speculating the current FBI and DOJ administrations are preparing for a potential pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, a move that would have the potential to irrevocably fracture the MAGA base as mountains of uninvestigated elements still stand tying Maxwell and Wexner to one of the most expansive human trafficking operations in recent history. Ohio remains the fifth highest state with reported human trafficking cases across the country where one of Epstein and Maxwell's closest associates, Les Wexner, resides, whose financial network was integral to Epstein's larger trafficking operation. Wexner has still never been investigated for his connections to Epstein and Maxwell or for his potential connection to the murder of Arthur Shapiro in 1985.
