AI Driven Systems like Carbyne Are Taking Over Ohio, But Who Is Behind Them?

STATEWIDE - In February, Fairfield County joined many others in the state in bringing in an AI driven tracking system to better facilitate 9-1-1 calls. The system, according to company owner Carbyne, is called Carbyne Apex, and allows operators to get real-time images and tracking information by hijacking callers phones and utilizing cameras, GPS location as well as audio of surrounding areas. According to Fairfield County police, the program is revolutionary and will help save victims of kidnapping and human trafficking, but the question remains on if Carbyne is the best company to be handling Ohio’s vast human trafficking problem.

At this time, 10 counties in Ohio currently use AI powered 9-1-1 services, of which Carbyne is a potential provider. Those are Athens County, Carroll County, Champaign County, Columbiana County, Hardin County, Harrison County, Monroe County, Morgan County, Union County, Washington County.

Carbyne’s other AI driven systems have jumped into Stark County, specifically Canton, Ohio as well and Guernsey County. These counties were used as test runs for the new “Next Generation 9-1-1” text message AI driven systems run by Carbyne. According to current Governor DeWine, all other counties will be mandated to convert to the system within the next five years. However, Carbyne’s development history has far greater ties to human trafficking than an emergency service should have.

Carbyne was primarily founded by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who is its chair, and boasts a host of disparaging connections, including Russian connected financiers like Andrew Intrater as well as Jeffrey Epstein and Les Wexner. According to articles in Haartez, in 2015, Barak entered into a multi-million dollar partnership with Epstein to fund Reporty Homeland Security LLC. Barak and Epstein used the LLC and formed a limited partnership that Barak incorporated as Sum (E.B.) in 2015. Sum owns 100% of Carbyne’s series A preferred stock. During this time, Barak visited Epstein more than 30 times, with some photos indicating Barak and Epstein entertained young women during their visits.

As many may know, Esptein has to his record only one significant financial client in his history who essentially handed all of his assets over to Epstein, permitting the generation of such vast wealth from nothing, Les Wexner. Wexner, owner of limited brands, and potentially implicated in the assassination of lawyer Arthur Shapiro in the 1980’s, severed ties officially with Epstein in 2007, a year after his first public arrest. During this time, prosecutor Alex Acosta claims he was instructed to drop the case due to Epstein’s ties to ‘intelligence’. Given his significant dealings with Barak and the founding of Carbyne, largely staffed by Intelligence Unit 8200, the Israeli version of the NSA, this is highly likely to be accurate. Epstein’s financing and connection with Barak was foundational to the founding of Carbyne and despite the severed ties from Wexner during this time, Wexner donated, through the Wexner foundation, $2.3 Million to Barak for unspecified research and ‘leadership’.

It should be noted, Wexner has been named in several suits filed for the Epstein abuse cases, including by notable Epstein and Maxwell Victim Maria Farmer, who was held captive at the Wexner estate in 1996. The FBI has repeatedly failed to investigate any victim claims connected to Wexner, with Columbus Police going so far as attempting to destroy the report linking Wexner to the murder of Arthur Shapiro.

Ohio ranks fifth in the nation in terms of human trafficking. Some, including victims of Epstein like Maria Farmer believe Les Wexner one of the current kingpins of this industry in the state. Many have sounded alarms over the potential issues of a child trafficking network, like that of Epstein-Maxwell and potentially Wexner, being so deeply involved in the creation of an AI driven company now taking over emergency service calls in Ohio. Yet it seems political interests are not listening or don't care. Afterall, Epstein killed himself, there is no conspiracy, case closed, right?

With Ohio being pegged by political and tech interests as the epicenter of a new AI driven infrastructure, including by Peter Thiel linked Governor hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, Ohioans would do well to question what these companies are and who is behind them now, before, like Carbyne, they are already embedded in our backyards. At this time, in several counties across the state, 9-1-1 calls are currently getting routed through a system from a foreign government-intelligence linked agency that was founded by human traffickers. Can we trust if you are a victim, you will get the help you need?
