Citizen Press Release: Charlie Kirk Vigil Planned Friday 9/12/2025

FINDLAY - Tonight we will gather together at the Hancock County Courthouse at 6:00 PM to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, who gave so much to the conservative movement. The vigil will also remember Findlay Police Officer Schimmoeller, who tragically lost his life off duty yesterday.

This vigil is not only a moment to grieve, but also a chance to unite against political violence and to reaffirm our commitment to a safer, stronger community.

Please join us in paying respects, standing together in peace, and supporting one another during this difficult time. Safety is our highest priority tomorrow. We are working closely with law enforcement to ensure a safe, respectful event for all who attend.

We hope to see you there.— Hancock County Young Republicans
