Put It On The Ballot Announces Findlay Town Hall on Data Centers, Zoning
BY CAREY MORGAN
FINDLAY - A local advocacy group will host a town hall forum later this month featuring a legal specialist to address the growing debate over data center zoning in Hancock County.
The forum, organized by Put It on the Ballot Findlay, is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Goose Hall and Event Center, 7430 Timberstone Dr., Suite B, in Findlay.

Organizers said the event aims to provide an unbiased presentation on the complexities of zoning laws as communities across Ohio face increasing pressure to quickly implement regulations for data centers.
"In Hancock County, there are a lot of questions being voiced when it comes to creating a code that addresses the public’s concerns, not only in the city of Findlay but also in surrounding townships," the group said in a statement. "We feel it is important that all sides are addressed when creating these codes in a very transparent way."
The event will include a question-and-answer session with the public, time permitting.Residents seeking more information can contact organizers via email at putitontheballotfindlay@gmail.com or through the Put It on the Ballot Findlay Facebook page.
